Intros

How do I make an Intro?

Intros are our bread and butter, here’s how to make an intro to a member of your circle.

Make Intros is a way to connect two people you know and trust in the fastest and most operationalized way.

  1. Navigate to the Introductions tab on the left menu tab.
  2. From there, you can choose to Make an Intro at the top of the page.
  3. You can also check the status of any intro requests you’ve already sent out or that others have requested of you.
  4. To Make an Intro, fill in the email of the circle member you want to help out, and then enter the email of the contact you are connecting them to. Then click Next: Message
  5. Here, you will be able to choose if you want this intro to be an Opt-In or Direct intro.
    1. Opt-In intros mean that the person in your Circle member will need to accept the intro before it gets sent to the contact.
    2. Direct intros immediately introduce the two contacts.
  6. Once selected, you can then view and edit the message you would like sent, and click Offer Intro.
How do I offer an intro?

Offering intros is the best way to help out other members of your circle, and we have completely operationalized this process. There are two areas within CoSell where you can offer intros:

Introductions Tab

  1. Click on the Introductions tab on the left menu bar.
  2. On this screen, you will see a bar to Make an Intro on the top.
  3. Below this, you will see any intro offers from members of your circle that are waiting for you.
  4. Click on View intro to see the details of the intro offer.
  5. From here, you can decide to approve or decline the intro offer.

Activity Feed

Your circle’s activity feed is where you can see everything that’s going on in your circle at a glance. Here’s how to respond to updates and offers:

  1. Click on your circle from the left sidebar.
  2. From here, you can view your circle’s Activity, such as completed intros, updates, and open offers.
  3. Any post you can interact with will have a View details button next to it, click on that to complete an intro offer, or reply to anyone's post.
How do I respond to intros?

Within the Introductions tab, you will see all intros that have been offered to you, as well as the statuses of intro requests you have sent out.

To respond to intros offered to you:

  1. Click on the Introductions tab.
  2. Find an intro that has been offered to you, and click View intro
  3. From here, you will be able to see the message for you, from the original circle member who offered the intro to you.
  4. You will also be able to include a forward-able message that the original introducer will forward to the contact.
  5. Once you have your message typed and ready to go, simply click Accept offer

Security and Support

Security Vulnerabilities

CoSell believes effective disclosure of security vulnerabilities requires mutual trust, respect, transparency, and common good between CoSell and Security Researchers.

Together, our vigilant expertise promotes the continued security and privacy of CoSell customers, products, and services.

CoSell accepts vulnerability reports from all sources such as independent security researchers, industry partners, vendors, customers, and consultants. The CoSell Security team will let you know that they received each vulnerability report, conduct a thorough investigation, and then take appropriate action for resolution.
